Croyde is one of my favourite areas to holiday in Devon. I
recently visited for a short break, surfed, ate ice-cream and got a tad (a lot
) sunburnt. I love to come back here as it is such a relaxing town, everything
is within walking distance and the beach and surfer waves are BEA-utiful. It is
one of the more expensive areas to stay in, but it is definitely worth the
extra pennies.
My top Croyde tips
Learn to Surf or Body-board
Croyde has some really great waves, whether you learn to
surf or body board, grab a wetsuit and you can have hours of fun!
Sand-dunes
Croyde has some amazing sand dunes, pitch up a disposable
BBQ on an evening and watch the sun set from the dunes.
Visit the town
Wherever you stay in Croyde the town is a skip and a hop
away, they have some great cafes and pubs and the best ice cream!
Camp
They have some really great, clean, friendly campsites in
Croyde. Whether you want to Glamp, caravan or do some traditional camping it
has a bit of everything!
